Ensuring Employee Welfare
In order to mitigate the health risks associated with Covid-19, we launched myriad programs geared towards protecting the health and wellbeing of our associates. Free vaccination events at our Noida and Tirupathi facilities, contactless remote health monitoring for those impacted by the virus and their relatives, and financial support provided to kin of our employees we have sadly lost to the pandemic are examples of the initiatives we have introduced. When the virus resurged and generated a shortage of oxygen in our local hospitals, we have stepped in to procure life-saving gas cylinders for our workforce and their dependents, established protocols through a rapid action team and donated oxygenators to government agencies and regional authorities alike in this period of need. Additionally, our CSR efforts have seen us gifting two mobile life support units to the Noida Authority.
Preventive Steps Adopted at the Workplace
Workplace safety was a priority after the pandemic. As a result, we implemented several preventive measures including strict adherence to social distancing protocols, making provision for work from home and regular sanitisation of the factory and offices. We also supplied adequate PPE kits, digital scanners, thermometers, masks, gloves and sanitizers at the workplace. A Crack team was also appointed at all plants and information about Covid hospitals were readily supplied to employees across our plants.
